Administrative or Biographical History The Tabor congregation has its origins in the Nazareth congregation, organized in June of 1884, by Pastor C. Österholm of Irwin, Pennsylvania. The early records of these congregations were destroyed by fire. Nazareth church was reorganized prior to 1887 and one off-shoot was the First Swedish Evangelical Free Church and the other was the Tabor Lutheran Church, which was organized 23, 1887 by Pastor Gustaf Nelsenius. The dedication of the first church building took place July 29, 1888.
Scope & Content The collection consists of one bound volume of handwritten deacons' minutes for 30 January 1895 - 6 October 1900.
