Scope & Content The papers include a copy of the genealogy of the Waller family written by S.G. Youngert, published in 1931 (95 p.), a copy and translation of a land grant given to Henrich Pedersson, Peder Pederson and Swen Hindersson by Gustavus Adolphus, dated 1613, Estate records from the early 1700s, letters and personal papers.
The Waller family came from Åmots Bruk in the province of Gestrikland and Peter and his sister Louisa emigrated in 1885. Peter Waller soon found work in Kewanee, Illinois and he eventually became the President of the Boss Manufacturing Company. Included is also a report written by S. G. Youngert on Wallons in Sweden and material for Youngert's genealogy on the Waller family.
