This photograph shows the façade of the Hotel Fontenelle from the sidewalk. The sign reads "Hotel Fontenelle - Welcome to his Royal Highness Prince Bertil of Sweden." People can be seen on the sidewalk and automobiles can be seen parked on the side of the street. According to The American Swedish Monthly: Swedish Pioneer Centennial 1848-1948 [June 1948 issue found in the Swenson Swedish Immigration Research stacks at: Immig. f E 184 .S23 A7 24251707]. "On Saturday [June 19, 1948] the official banquet is scheduled at the Hotel Fontenelle, in Omaha…"
