Description Waterman's Ideal 12 POC Fountain Pen. Cap reads " Clip Cap - Ideal - PAT APR. 19 '10 - SEPT. 26-05". Nib reads "WATERMAN'S - IDEAL - NEW YORK". Barrel reads "PAT'D. 1884 -- May 23, 1899 -- WATERMAN'S IDEAL FOUNTAIN- -- PEN. N.Y. U.S.A. -- & AUG. 4, 1903". The end of the pen reads "12 POC". The barrel of the pen is dark brown with some type of pattern indented into it. The cap is a slightly lighter brown and does not have the indentation on it. The pen may be a slip-fit (cone-cap) eyedropper with a #2 nib, a screw-cap eyedropper with a #2 nib, or a clip-cap eyedropper with a #2 nib.
